Submit Your Own Pack

Royalty Return And Contracting.

The creator will receive 50% of royalties on all profits made from a sample pack.
Full packs will be sold at £30.
The creator will receive £15 per sale for full packs
Creators will receive monthly sales reports.
Creators will be paid monthly.
Quality control are here to help if the pack needs some amendments.
Once quality control have passed your pack a contract will be emailed to you and the pack will be introduced to the catalogue. (You do not have to use your artist name)

Here are some guidelines as to what we require from you, how to format the samples and some things to be aware of when creating royalty free samples for Groove Source. All submitted content MUST be completely free from copyright. Do not under ANY circumstances use samples from other libraries or material recorded from old vinyl or similar. If these requirements are ignored liability lies with the creator.

Minimum of 500Mb of Loops and One shots • 24Bit 44.1kHZ WAV samples
25 x Full Drums Loops
25 x Top Loops
25 x Percussion Loops
25 x Bass Loops
15 x Music Loops
15 x SFX Loops
15 x Synth/Melodic Sounds
25 x Hit’s of every drum sound (Kick, Clap, Snare, Hat etc)
25 x Hit’s of every drum sound (Kick, Clap, Snare, Hat etc)

• A two minute demo preview to showcase your pack.
• A selection of high resolution press photos for the pack artwork and marketing.
• Video content to be used as promo material.
TIP: Build a 4 bar loop containing all the elements needed to create the pack, just like you would if you were in the early stages of making a record. Do this 25 times and you will have all the contents of your pack ready to bounce out into single stems. FX can be done separately.

60 Vocal Phrases (Includes Wet & Dry)
15 Vocal Adlibs (Includes Wet & Dry)

10 Vocal Chop Loops
10 Vocal One Shots
10 Vocal FX One Shots

Technical Details

All sounds should be recorded at around -3db to ensure no clipping occurs.
Delivery of all samples to be 24Bit 44.1KHZ WAV Files.
Try to keep the drum loops as dry as possible to allow for further processing.
Loops shall be cut into exact bar lengths (ideally, even numbers e.g. 2, 4, 8 or 16
Ensure the Loops do not unnecessarily repeat over 2 bars. If you create a 4 bar loop please ensure there is a variation of some sort.
Ensure to check the tuning and add the key info in the file name, this is essential.
File Naming: You should be able to know exactly what the file is by reading the file name. If the file naming is not correct then your pack will be sent back to you by our quality control team and you will be required to amend anything that doesn’t meet our guidelines . Use this template as a guide for all files:

Abbreviation Of Your Pack Name_Tempo_Key_Description_Number
Use your artist name/initials or your pack name abbreviation after GS for ‘Groove Source’ For example If your artist name is John Jones you would use GSJJ_128_C#min_Music_01

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR KEY IS 100% CORRECT (Melodyne is great for this)
