Know the key.Spectrum Analyser
Every analyser shows you frequency. Prism also tells you what key the music is in — live, while it plays — and names the loudest note you're looking at. A 240-band log spectrum with a note axis underneath it, so you read music, not just Hertz.
Try the actual analyser
This is the real plug-in UI, running on a demo signal. Watch the key card settle, hover the spectrum, and try the Tilt and Speed controls.
The analyser that reads music.
Live key detection
The thing no other analyser tells you. Prism folds the spectrum onto the twelve pitch classes and correlates it against the Krumhansl-Kessler key profiles — all 24 major and minor keys — and shows you the winner with a confidence bar.
It admits when there isn't one
Percussion has no key. Nor does a single sustained note. A detector that confidently prints a wrong answer is worse than useless, so Prism measures how far the winner is clear of the field and goes quiet when the material simply isn't tonal.
A note axis, not just Hz
C1 to C8 printed under the spectrum alongside the frequencies. That 240 Hz build-up is a B3 — and now you can see that without doing the maths.
Peak note, in cents
The loudest partial, named — E2, +7 cents. Instant answer to "is this bass in tune?", and a fast way to find the exact frequency of a resonance you want to notch.
Tilt to a pink reference
Raw spectra slope down and every mix looks bass-heavy. Tilt the display to a pink-noise reference and a balanced mix reads flat — so you can actually judge the curve you're looking at.
