One knob.
All the warmth.Saturation & Width
Ember is a focused saturation plug-in: a single drive knob that goes from subtle glue to mid-driven grit, plus a phase-aligned stereo width dial and ten stem-ready presets. No menus to get lost in — just turn it up.
Try the actual interface
This is the real plug-in UI, running live. Drag the Saturation knob, sweep the Width dial, flip through the presets.
Small surface. Serious engine.
One-knob saturation
An oversampled (4×) drive with reference-level auto-gain, so the knob changes harmonics and feel — not just loudness. Character blends clean warmth into tube-style thickness.
Phase-aligned width
Mid/side widening with a matched all-pass on the mid, so the stereo image opens up without smearing transients or hollowing the centre.
Mono-maker built in
Keep the low end tight and centred — bass folds to mono below a set point, with an optional ≤200 Hz side focus for kicks and sub.
10 stem presets
Voicings tuned per source — sub, bass, kick, drum bus, snare, vocals, guitar, synth, mix bus — so the one knob already sits right.
Clean, low-alias
Oversampling around the waveshaper keeps things smooth even when you push it, and latency is reported to your DAW for tight timing.
VST3 · AU · free
Runs in every major DAW on macOS, Windows and Linux. No account, no dongle, no nag screens.
Ten voicings, one turn each
Pick the source, then ride a single knob. Each preset sets the drive character, tone tilt, mono crossover and width for you.
